Much has been written about the saftey issues surrounding Brazilian straightening systems and the amount of formaldehyde released during the treatment and while heat styling at home. Because of this we have determined that it is not in the best interest of our clients or staff to offer the Brazilian system.

 

We have searched for products that do not contain formaldehyde, and actually thought we had found one, but it turns out that this product also contains the toxic chemical. We will continue to monitor the market, search for safe alternatives.
