Wigs have been worn throughout history by both men and women, and can be fun, fashionable and above all, REALISTIC. Unfortunately many women find them to be undesirable today and in some cases it can bring tears to the eyes of women that need to wear them for medical reasons. When they think of wearing a wig they remember Grandma who looked silly in her wig and want to avoid that at all costs.
Today's wigs have drastically improved however, it is the skill of the technician who styles the wig that really makes the product come alive. Most women do not understand that even store bought inexpensive wigs MUST be cut in for the individuals features to make it look natural, and unfortunately not all hair stylist have worked with wigs and know how to cut them. Just as unfortunate is the fact that with a wig, once cut the hair does not grow back and a wig can easily be ruined by cutting.
