These extensions were done with micro-links. There is no glue, the hair can be reused, and since it is 100% human hair it can be washed and styled just as you would your own hair. With this system clients can expect to come into the salon about once a month for "tune-ups." A tune up is an appointment to check the extensions for slippage and re-tighten any extensions that have changed position. For some clients there is no slipping and once we know your hair holds the link well the monthly tune ups are not necessary. There is NO damage to existing hair.
I also offer a system called shrink-link, the hair with this system is not reusable however the once monthly tune up is not necessary and can be left in the hair up to 4 months. This system also is 100% human hair, and can be treated as your own hair would. There is NO damage with this system to existing hair.
Pricing for extensions is $40.00 per hour, usually the initial installation takes about 2-6 hours, plus the price of hair. Overall both systems cost about the same. However with shrink-links the entire set of extensions is taken out and reinstalled and with micro-links this is usually not necessary, hence a shorter appointment time.
